HOW TO GET TO THE FESTIVAL
Kaleidoscope is located at Temple Point Resort in Watamu. Malindi Airport is a 30 minute drive, Mombasa Airport is a 2.5hr drive. Once in Watamu, take the main road toward the creek, we're the last property on it, right next to KWS. Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/757abs5JKb4wVFrt9

RULES
No phones, no cash, no illegal substances, no harassment.
This year we're going phone free to bring us back to what festivals were always meant to be - the bridge between you, me, strangers, artists, art, and the music. We'll have designated phonezones so you won't be entirely unreachable if you don't wish to be. We'll have locking phone pouches for you to put your phones in and keep thieves out.
Wristbands are our payment system and they can be topped up with mpesa or card only. We won't be accepting cash. You'll also need to check in and out of the festival each day as a safety precaution - we'll just scan your wristband and send ya on your way. We will not be refunding unused funds, please make sure to only load what you can spend!
We’ve built a world that doesn’t need alcohol or drugs to experience. The real magic happens when you’re fully present, grounded, and immersed in the moment, letting the music, art, and people move you.
This means we've got a strict no drugs policy: We don’t condone or tolerate drug use in any form.
Drink responsibly: If you choose to drink, you’re in charge of yourself - so sip, savor, and stay aware.
If you choose to ignore the rules, please be safety-minded:
-
Don’t accept anything from strangers, and never pick up unknown substances.
-
Keep one sober buddy in your group to help look out for everyone.
-
Don’t try something new here. The festival is sensory overload, and this is not the place to experiment for the first time.
Our goal is simple: a space overflowing with fun, connection, and good vibes. Thank you for helping us keep it safe and magical for everyone.

AWARENESS
We care deeply about safety, respect, and connection. If you ever feel overwhelmed, need support, or experience harassment, here’s where to go:
Care Team Safe Space
-
Where: Spa
-
What: A calm, safe space for those feeling the festival’s heaviness. We’ll help guide you back down to earth.
-
Who: Pink-vested care team members, trained to support and ground you. Members are both in the care space as well as walking around the festival.
-
What They Can Help With: Emotional support, distress, harassment. Bringing you back down to earth, talking you through a heavy experience, or being the steady person who sits quietly next to you. If you need an advocate after being harassed or with medics, they can be that.
-
What They Can’t: General festival questions or medical emergencies
Medical Assistance
1. Medical Stands
-
Strategically placed, staffed, equipped with first-aid supplies.
2. Medics in Vests
-
Walking around the festival, ready to help with illness, injuries, dehydration, or anything else.

ACCESSIBILITY
If you're arriving in a wheelchair please let us know in advance as some of the stages are harder for you to access. By letting us know in advance we can have dedicated personnel to make it easier for you to access all of stages and magic Kaleidoscope has to offer.
